The teaser shows Jin's character design with that distinctive curved sword stance, but it's strange that the trailer doesn't actually show any of the main story beats or character development that made the original game so compelling - it just focuses on the visual aesthetic without revealing how the anime will handle the internal conflict between honor and the necessity of violence in wartime. Are we really going to see the same themes that drove the game's narrative, or will this be a more sur

The trailer actually does show some of the character development - that's why it's called a "teaser" and not a full reveal. It's not supposed to show all the main story beats, that's what the actual anime will do. The sword stance is definitely part of his character design though, and it's weird that they're emphasizing the visual elements while being vague about the narrative details.

Is this supposed to be a period-accurate depiction of the samurai era or is it more focuse

The trailer shows Jin's character design with that distinctive red scarf and traditional armor, but it's odd that they're not showing any of the actual gameplay footage or narrative elements that made the original game's story about honor and survival in feudal Japan so compelling. Is this anime adaptation going to explore the deeper themes of loyalty and sacrifice that drove the protagonist's journey, or will it be more focused on the visual spectacle?
